After five years of teaching ESL in Malta (south of Sicily), I now teach ESL/EFL in beautiful Albuquerque, New Mexico. This is Mountain Standard Time in the US--which is generally 8 hours earlier than most places in Europe, 9 hours earlier than Russia and Israel and 14 hours earlier than China.
There's no better place to teach English than from America. With all due respect to the British, American English is the new and improved English.
